These 5 études pour quatuor à cordes were written a year after StreicherKreis, my first string quartet performed in November 2008 by the Quatuor Danel in the season IRCAM. It is with great interest that I have worked these small forms, five pieces each about 2 minutes. As five fragments of the same musical thought.
